The King’s Academy Elementary School has proudly served its community for more than a decade. Situated within the New L.B.S Community, adjacent to the Coca-Cola Factory in Paynesville, Monrovia, Liberia, our school plays a vital role in a densely populated area, primarily comprising underprivileged residents. Our establishment was born out of necessity, as, at the time of our inception, there were only two high schools but no elementary schools to cater to the numerous underprivileged children in the Luther Community. While a few elementary schools existed, most had dissolved due to the financial challenges faced by parents, with 85 to 90 percent unable to afford the required fees for teachers’ salaries and school upkeep.
The King’s Academy Elementary School has been a beacon of hope, providing countless children with access to education.
We take pride in having graduated over 40 students from our elementary program. To maintain a strong connection with our graduates, we hold regular monthly meetings, offering counseling, motivation, and engaging activities. Our ultimate goal is to see each graduate of The King’s Academy complete their high school education and pursue further studies.
We owe our success and affordability to the unwavering support of AHEAD Ministries, which has allowed us to excel academically and remain the only tuition-free school in our community. Both parents and students continually express their desire for the school to extend into upper classes, providing more opportunities for continued education.
At present, the school faces two pressing needs:

Official registration with the Ministry of Education.

The construction of a permanent school building.
The King’s Academy Elementary School remains deeply committed to our mission of providing education to underprivileged children in the New L.B.S Community and is profoundly grateful for the support that has allowed us to make a significant impact on the lives of our students.
